Takashi Marx started learning piano in his childhood, getting interested in making music by improvisation rather than playing somebody’s works. In his school life, he learned design and worked for ISSEY MIYAKE as an assistant designer, joined in SOMA DESIGN as a sound creator. Through the experience making fashion show music such as “SOMARTA”, he started to compose music for several events and commercial films. Though his main sound is instrumentals, he has some works inspired by poets in the world such as Hermann Hesse, Paul Verlaine and Yannis Ritsos as well.
